Engineered for compatibility with inverted V fencing, the Water Line Gate effectively prevents chicks from entering the fencing structure or passing through to the opposite side. Gate moves up and down with water line as its raised or lowered. Installation is straightforward: remove select wires from your existing fencing and secure the Water Line Gate using the provided zip ties. 
 
Where Gate fits in fencing needs to be 2-5/16" (58mm) wide minimum. Some brands of fences you cut out 3 wires another is 4. Length is 5-1/8" (130mm). Length is not as critical as the fencing varies a lot. Gate will pull fence together or widen slightly when put in position.
